Majority of the Muslims in the world as well as the two million in the UK belong to the Traditional Sunni (Ahle-Sunnat-wal-Jamaat) belief which incorporates Sufism.
The British Muslim Forum is the voice of Traditional Sunnis and national body of the majority of the Mosques & Islamic Institutes operating at national, regional and grassroots levels in the UK. It has the largest share of elected seats in the UK’s Mosques & Imams National Advisory Board (MINAB). Through its Scholars, local Mosques and institutions like Bareilly Shareef it has an influence over the UK’s majority Muslim population.
